2008 Rail Trail Construction
The first two major construction projects on the Goffstown Rail Trail occurred during the fall of 2008. The projects were funded primarily through two Recreational Trails Program grants, with work done by John Neville Excavating. The first project was a stretch of trail heading east from Moose Club Park Road, and the second was a section in front of, and heading eastward from the Parks & Rec building.
To wrap up the second project, the Friends of the Goffstown Rail Trail constructed a small bridge at the eastern end. Photos of that project are here.
